Bojan, The Boy Wonder

I'm currently watching the first Barca game of the season and Bojan just scored.
HOLY COW is he good looking :O I mean look at these:

I mean just RAWR :)

I know you are enjoying that Messi, you lucky dog.

I just realized this is the first post in which I don't mention Man United. Oh, wait...

A Blog: The Mancandy Edition

My Mans won today, I'm proud and not really happy at the same time. They won the game with lots of luck and no Berba. I mean , Arsenal had to score United's winning goal for them, but I learned that they can score penalties o.O who knew that?!

I like it when my Man are happy.

Mr. Wegner, the Arsenal coach, showed some excellent football skills, and then he was sent off the field...

I might definitely have a crush on Nani...

Liverpool also won, and my Torres scored:

Why is he always laying on the grass? Doesn't he know he is supposed to play football standing up?

I think Torres might be a little jealous that Lucas was stealing Stevie from him.

And Bally scored too:

Paolo Maldini was at the Milan vs. Inter game:

I drooled.

I think Pato was jealous, or he was sad that his team was losing 4-0. (Notice the fact that there is no hobo look anymore. I think he learned how to use a razor!)

Wesley Snejider is at Inter now:

I think he is trying to scare us with those eyebrows...

*Insert inappropriate "you can suck on my...." joke here*

Kaka jumped on top of people and pointed at others when he scored a goal. Ronaldo was sad.

The Torres

So, I'm sitting here on my bed contemplating Liverpool's loss yesterday and Levski's loss today as my mom is yelling at me to set the table. I'm pretending that I'm studying verb tenses, while she comes in here showing me shirts that I should wear to school tomorrow. But I still cannot believe that Liverpool lost at Anfield, HA! I mean, ohh poor things... I do like the team, just not so much when they are possible rivals to United, just like I used to like Chelsea, but now that they are so good with Drgoba and Anelka I really despise them because they could snatch away United's fourth consecutive title. I did feel bad for Torres though, he looked so sexy with his black eye and stuff. I don't feel bad for Gerrard, I still can't believe he gave away a penalty! That's almost as bad as when Michael Carrick missed the penalty shot at Burnley and United lost. It's almost as bad, but not quite AS bad. BRB I have to go eat dinner.
I'm finally back, and it's about an hour and a half later. What's bad is that I started school on Monday and now I can't spend countless hours hunting for amazing football information online, but I do know that Man United won their reserves game against Bolton 3-1, which is a good sing for my Mans. Anyway here are some pictures of the ah-mazing Torres during the Liverpool game. Just in case you're wondering, yes I am suffering from Torrenidis a disease which causes me to obsess over Fernando Torres' lovely face.

Oh yes, it's the eyebrow, and just look at the guy behind Torres checking him out.

We see you there Stevie, stop staring at his ass.

The Winners: Chelsea, Milan, Fed. The Mediocre: Inter

Serie A has officially began! I happen to be a fan of Italian soccer, their style of play is just so much different from the English style. The one thing I don't like about them is that their matches are way too predictable, while in the EPL they definitely are not. I mean, who could have predicted that United would lose to Burnley, a team that they have not lost to in 40 years?
Anyway, Milan won their match against Siena 2-0. I was happy to see the adorable (but married) 18 year old Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato score both goals. Inter Milan, on the other hand did not perform as well, they drew their game against Bari 1-1. The Barca forward Eto'o scored his first goal in the game, but Ibra was definitely missed.
Oh, Ibra ditching Inter for the best team in the world, how could you?

In non- soccery news (I know right, I watch other sports too!) Federer won his third Cincinnati title, defeating Djokovic in straight sets 6-1, 7-5. After his humiliating defeat against Tsonga last week Fed definitely performed better this week, and even though I did not get to see a Nadal-Fed showdown I was still happy.

Ah, I could never get tired of watching him hold up trophies :)  I wish I was that trophy. I mean, congratulations Mr. Fed!

Aww, look how adorable he is!

Was that really necessary? Didn't your mother teach you how to behave during a game?

"Oh yeah, I'm totally kicking ass with my awesome backhand."

"Coach, but I'm le tired."

I just couldn't stop myself. He is definitely the best looking coach! Rawr. Yeah that's right, I just rawr-ed at him.

No Worries, They Are Back :D

The smiley face in the title is exactly what my face has looked like all day, well maybe that and a little of this- o.O
As you can see this blog is not shaping up to be an angry rant about how much United suck, nope no such thing. This can only mean that they have won the game, and they have won it properly. Yep, they won 5-0 against Wigan. I know that it's a team that they have never lost to in the Premier League, but they still looked great. We had Rooney's 100th and 101st goal for the team, Owen's first, Nani scored, and we even had a look at a Berbagoal. And yes,  I do have to add the word Berba in front of everything that has to do with him.
Ooh, and something very important, I spotted an amazing bitchface from Nani today. It was so good it could give Daveed Villa run for his money. I kind of wanted to hide behind my couch after I saw it. I shall be hunting the Internet for that bitchface picture because it will be priceless.
I can't believe I haven't mentioned this yet, but how was good was Fed against Murray?! I mean I'm a Fed fan, but I didn't think he had any chance against Mur, be was all like "Well you know what Gaby, screw you, I'll beat him in straight sets just to prove you wrong." Then Rafa lost from the Djoker and I was sad because Nadal is cool and I wanted to see him and Fed play at the final because that would immediately mean an epic match.
"I believe I can Berbafly, I believe I can touch the sky... or you know score a goal, whichever one you prefer..."

"As if some 22 year old could do a better bitchface than me." *Laughs nervously and runs off to practice bitchface in the mirror."

Wow. He  can really fly...

He's got some good levitation skills going on.

Recovery and Forbidden Love

I think I've recovered now. I no longer feel like kicking a kitten when I see this picture:

I can laugh when I see this:

And I can make inappropriate jokes at this:

I think these definitely helped my recovery:

I totally have the whole forbidden love going on for him considering that he is from Liverpool... but hey, all is fair in love and football :)

P.S. I promise, I'll stop posting so many pictures... someday

The Great Loss

I'm not happy.
The Mans lost.
I don't want to talk about it.
I've talked/thought about it too much
I think that watching about 3 hours worth of funny youtube soccer videos has made me feel a bit better...
or maybe not...
I just looked at my Man Utd scarf
And felt like punching someone

A Berbamazing Post

The United game against Burnley is about an hour away, and I'm bored. I'm watching some boring Champions League game with Olympiacos, and although I'm enjoying listening to the commentator's attempts to pronounce the Greek names, the football is not great. So here are some pictures of the famous Berba that I collected:
*Warning: some wannabe "witty" captions may be included

"OMG this is a fashion emergency! Why is he wearing pink?! And OMG  did he just touch my Berbalegs?!" *runs away and hides behind Sir Alex*

"Rooney wishes he could have my Berbalooks and be all sexy while stretching on this funny looking thing."

"Well hello there, you've just caught me pretending to be a Greek God. Who am I kidding? I am a Greek God."

No comment. The hat speaks for itself.

"Rooney, how many times have I told you that I am not a tree that you can just climb any day? You will ruin my hair!"

"Sir Alex the defenders are being mean to me!"

"Hey, they made me wear these stupid green stripped socks. I told them that we shouldn't because they don't make me look good, and the Bulgarian team is only about making me look good. What were they thinking?"

Some Football and some Kaká

Arsenal happened to win their match against Celtic, but even though I didn't watch the game I heard that Celtic scored an own goal, so I would guess it wasn't much of a match. I guess the Arsenal glory that was there against Everton is gone. They might want to get it back if they want to have a chance to beat my Red Boys on the 29th at Old Trafford
The Mans are playing tomorrow against Burnley, and I hope they will do better in their second match, and Berba is starting again, and Owen gets to sit on the bench! HA! I mean... aww poor Owen... *pets* He is just jealous because he doesn't have Nani's amazing  flipping football skills.

Being all Bulgarian and stuff I also have to support my Blues who are trying to show the world that they do not suck as much as everyone thinks and are trying to make it to the group stage. They are playing against Debrecen, a team that I have never heard of, so I'm hoping we can beat them and move on so we can get our ass kicked later on by the good teams :)

Warning the following images may cause brain damage:

Kaka: "I can wear a cone on my head and still look super sexy. Can you?"
Dude in back: WTF...
Ahh the Kaka smile... *faints*

Why so serious?

How I Fell In Love With You

I've had an on/off relationship with soccer since the world cup in 2006. Finally, about a year ago we decided to go steady and now we very much in love.

During the big champions like World Cups and European Cups I was a passionate follower. I didn't miss a game from Euro 2008, I was in hysterics when Greece beat Portugal in 2004, and I cried when France lost in 2006. But my real relationship started about a year ago. I walked home from school and decided to ignore my homework and watch TV. It happened to be a Wednesday, a Champions League day. I came across ESPN and to my surprise they were showing a Manchester United game. I sat there and watched the entire match without moving and I screamed at the end of the game when Manchester won.

That same weekend I watched every single soccer game I could get my eyes on. I followed United wherever they went, I cheered when Berbatov scored, I frowned upon Ronaldo and laughed at Rooney's child-like adorableness. Before every soccer game I got really nervous, there were butterflies flying around in my stomach. I couldn't sleep before the Champions League final. I cried when Manchester lost, I laughed at Ronaldo, I adored Messithe enemy.

Then I realized I was in love with a soccer team, and not just any soccer team, one of the best teams in the world (obviously not the best, I would have to give that spot to Barca, hands down). They made me laugh, they made me cry, they made me scream with joy, they made me read book about them, they made my eyes sparkle whenever I talked about them (my friends told me this, I was a little creeped out). It felt weird obsessing over more than twenty men that way...

After United, I will have to go to Liverpool. Even though I don't like to admit this, they are my second favorite team. I know that United and Pool don't mix, but I can't help it! Their team is just so... so good looking! Gerard and Torres in the same team :O *faints*

Anyway, I started this blog so I can write to the imaginary people that are reading this and ramble about my favorite thing on this world- soccer.
""
Aww he is just adorable :)
Look at them?! Don't you just feel like giving them a giant hug? So much cuteness should not be allowed in one team!
"I'm not crying *sob* there is something in my eye! *sob* MOMMY!"
