It's been going pretty bad. OK, let me fix that, it's been awful! I really do need reminding why I love football, and why I care so much about it, when it pisses me off so fucking much! I think that maybe football is like religion, you just can't question your belief (oooh, look I can make analogies). Anyway, United just continue to anger me, and I just want to yell at them. But then I feel bad because they are my boys :)
Sir Alex needs to figure a way out of our defense crisis because we cannot keep playing with Fletcher as a right back. Without him our midfield looks depleted and lacks the creativity. Rooney also needs to get his game back because the last couple of games he has not shown up at all. If he wants to prove us his greatness he needs to start scoring a lot more goals. I still don't understand why Berbatov does not play the full 90 minutes. He seems to be pretty fit. I know that Sir Alex wants to avoid any more injuries, but we do need players in order to do well.
I don't even want to discuss our defense...
Valencia were not much better, but at least they didn't lose. The game was actually boring, and nothing interesting happened. Veeyah's genius didn't show up at all, Mata was OK, but I have to say that both teams played really defensive football.
Liverpool seem to be having a mental breakdown so I don't even want to talk about them.
I said in an earlier post that I was going to start watching the Bundesliga so I watched the replay of Bayern vs Berlin today. I was really impressed by the way that Bayern played. It was quality football and they are a really great team. I know that they had a really shaky start to the season and they seem to be back in track. They played so well and dominated the entire game, it was beautiful to watch. There seems to be so much discipline in German football, and I really like that. There was no arguing with the ref, no pointless falling to the ground, it was complete football and I loved it.
I actually feel really bad for Mark Hughes. Poor Sparky, I think he really tried to something with City, but City are shit, so he failed epicly...
My dad just came in to tell me that United didn't lose to Sunderland. I told him I know, they lost to Fulham. Then he said "Oh the same Fulham that drew 1-1 with CSKA Sofia. They couldn't beat CSKA, but they could beat United. How sad is that?" I then proceded to kick him out of my room.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

I've had a horrible football week. I know that it's been over for a while, but I'm still not over all the ugliness that happened there. I guess I should start with UEFA/ Champions League.
Both of the Bulgarian teams lost their matches, leaving them at the bottom of their respective tables. CSKA has only one point, and Levski has 0, I think they are the only team without a point. Valencia also didn't perform as well as they should have, even though Veeya was playing. Liverpool also lost and I was pissed because they had been playing dreadful football lately. Man United's performance in Moscow also wasn't pretty.
Now moving on to the more important stuff. Let's begin with the only positive thing from this weekend (unless you are a Liverpool/Chelsea fan)- Valencia. They were lovely against whatever team they played and they won 3-0, with Veeya scoring, of course.
The bad: Real also drew with Sporting (I think) and I wasn't happy because I don't like it when Kaka is sad. Ronaldo really needs to get back on that pitch and make him happy again, and they can make football babies. I mean goals...
The ugly: I guess I should give you a warning that the following paragraphs/ pages might be filled with tons of angry United rambling.
The fact that they lost has definitely reflected my mood this week, and anytime any of my friends (who don't give a crap about football) mention United I feel like kicking a kitten. I guess I should probably talk about the game and how stuff went. I was really nervous and I didn't sleep well, but just like before any major game I knew that if they had a chance to win, then United would screw up. It still hurts when my prediction does come true.
Our starting line-up was not weak, and now that we have van der Sar back our back line should have been much more stable. One thing I didn't understand was why Darren Fletcher did not start/ was not on the bench. He is a great player and he could have been a great contribution to the team.
Berbatov and Rooney played up front, but as usual Berba was the link between midfield and Rooney. The first couple of minutes Rooney had some good attacks, but after that he was gone. Berbatov tried to make something happen with Valencia, but he didn't look very enthusiastic. Neither one was at their best shape, Berba's passes weren't as good as they usually were, and Valencia was chasing down balls like he should have been. Giggs wasn't much better either, I think he should have been subbed. I didn't understand why Sir Alex subbed Berba and not Rooney. He should have brought Owen in much earlier and taken out Rooney because he was obviously struggling.
Scholes and Carrick did OK, but not as well as I would have likes. Scholes' passes were flawless, like usual, but that was all he did, he didn't really defend or help create any situations. Carrick did much better, he created many opportunities, but he couldn't execute them.
Our back four were pretty poor, especially whenever Torres touched the ball. I mean you could see the fear on their faces the moment the freckles got the ball. Ferdinand was out of shape, and he should have been able to stop Torres when he broke away and score the goal. Vidic was fine, but some of his tackles were awful, same goes for Evra.
It was pretty bad, and we deserved to lose, but I'm still mad. Berba shouldn't have gotten that frustrated with all the challenges that went against him, that definitely affected his football. Also, Torres!!! AHHH!!! That little b*tch! I mean, I love him and all, but what was with all the diving?! I think all the frustration is out.
They better destroy Blackburn in their next game, or I will be really mad.
At least this is better than 4-1... Right?
Me no likey sad Kaka, but me likey wet Kaka

Yay happy = good :)

I will not talk about it today.
I probably will tomorrow.
I didn't cry, like I did when they lost to Burnley.
I saw it coming, but I didn't want to believe it.
Torres needs to go fuck himself.
