A Short One

I've always like Valencia, but now that I have actually started following their games bad things have started to happen. I've watched their last two games and they couldn't win either one. I was actually upset. But Villa scored in both games, which was good, it also shows that the team needs someone else who can also score goals, because Villa can't score 3-4 goals per game. Or maybe he can, but just doesn't feel like doing it yet.

Villa was having more fun kicking the goal post rather than kicking the ball.

Also, the Reds are through to the second round of Carling Cup.

This guy pretended he was an airplane.

While this guy scored some goals.

The Greates Derby Ever, Some Bromance, Daveeds, and Torres

Finally I have some time to talk about it. It was amazing, probably the best game I've ever seen. Oh, I just realized you might not know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about the Manchester United vs. Manchester City derby that took place today. I have to admit that I was very, very nervous before the match. I had to wake up at 8:30 in the morning to watch the game even though the previous night I went to sleep at around four. I couldn't sleep because I kept having dreams that involved Tevez eating United's players and then scoring a free kick and laughing his evil laugh. The first half of the game was kind of mediocre of United, even though Rooney's first goal was good. When the second half started I really thought we had the match in our back pockets but I guess I was wrong. When Owen came on in the 78th minute I promised myself that if he scored in this match I would start liking him. I thought the match was over when the 90th minute came around and we were leading 3-2, well until City decided to score an equalizer. There were four minutes of added time and I was genuinely terrified and I thought the game was over. Thank God I was wrong because Michael Owen scored in the 95th minute! I wasecstatic! The people at my house were a little freaked out when I jumped out of the couch after looking like I was about to start sobbing and started screaming.
Now many people are criticizing the fact that there were 6 minutes of added time when there were supposed to be 4, but I don't think they are right to criticize. City slowed the game down a lot when they were celebrating and then there were the usual arguments and stuff like that, so the time was right. Some people are just jealous.

Darren Fletcher is my hero :) I've always liked that boy. Rawr.

Get off my man Tevez!

Berba should have scored at least once today, but I think he enjoys touching other guys more than playing football. I mean... what?

Aww. Is this another bromance in the making? Wait, I never promised that I would stop making fun of Owen, I just said I would stop hating him. YES!

This made me go all lolzApparently Sir Alex can levitate o.O

This is the most amazing thing ever.

In non- Manchestery news. I watched Valencia lose to Sporting today. I was not happy. It's not fair that Daveed Villa is the only one that ever scores. I mean what about Daveed Silva?! I would be sooo excited if he does move to the Devils!

Just look at Daveed's bitchface. I mean that's some quality bitchfacing right there. If I was that ball I'd be scared shitless

Liverpool also won vs. West Ham. Torres score about 3748397 goals. OK, two...

Real Madrid also won against some team that has never played in first division. Ronaldo was beast.

He scored twice, but Kaka still refuses to return his feelings, or his phone calls.

To Ronaldo: "I'm married dude."

OMG

I will talk about it later, I will probably talk about it forever.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, then you must live under a rock.
I can't hate Michael Owen anymore.
Darren Fletcher is my hero.
I wanted to murder Tevez.
And cut the legs off of the entire City team.
None of that was necessary.

It Has Begun

The most important competition after the World Cup and the Euro Cup- UEFA. The season started a while ago, but now that the important team are up and running everything is much more interesting.
All the English teams struggled in their first matches:

Manchester United won their match against Besiktas 1-0 with a header from Scholes. Rooney was isolated at the front as United unsuccessfully played their 5-4-1 formation, and they lacked their usual flair.

There is also speculations that United will offer Daveed Silva 30 million for a move to the Reds. I love Valencia and although I would hate to see the two Daveeds separated I would to see one of them at United.

Arsenal almost lost as the unknown team they were playing against took the lead 2-0. The gunners who have been feeling the loss of Arshavin who will be out for a while due to an injury were able to come back and win the game 3-2.

Torres was promoting his new book while his team struggled to win 1-0 against the Hungarians, Debreceni. I guess he was too busy thinking about his book during the game, rather than thinking about how to score goals.

Messi fought over an invisible ball with an Inter player. The boring game ended in a 0-0 draw. I mean there wasn't even a fight between the Ibra and Eto'o!

Of course I have to mention the Bulgarians, Levski Sofia, who lost 1-0 after a dreadful performance against Villareal

The other Bulgarians, CSKA Sofia, showed some excellent levitation abilities during the match against Everton which ended 1-1.

Real Madrid was the only team that played at their level, winning their match against Zurich 5-2. This guy ^ scored twice.

He was jealous that Kaka looked prettier than him. Ahh... Kakanaldo

P.S. You know when they show slow motion replays of something that happened during the game? Well next time they are doing that watch the players' thighs, OMG they jiggle.

The Hot Tennis Players Edition

This year's tennis Grand Slam season is over, with the biggest upset in the past five years. Roger Federer, the number one player in the world lost to Juan Martin del Potro at a Grand Slam which he had won five consecutive years. In honor of the end of the season I shall now present you with the hottest players on court:

Fernando Verdasco, who likes to make fists and look evil.

Rafael Nadal, whose OCD-ness and butt picking is kind of adorable.

The overrated, but good looking Murray. (see what I did there, with the good looking and the pointing at the eye thing? no?)

The Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, an 18 year-old who didn't make it past the qualifying round.

Of course, Andy Roddick, who likes to parade around shirtless and then remind us that he is married.

The Gonza, whose eyes make me all tingly.

The current U.S. Open Champion, Del Potro.

Oh, look it's lip-licking Rafa again.

An orangey, but goof looking and finger pointing Djokovic.

And of course, the one and only, the best player in the world:

Roger Federer. *stares at picture* *explodes* *is dead*

1994: The Great World Cup

If you are Bulgarian and you hear the year 1994 you have to think of only thing- the World Cup, or the Great World Cup, as I like to call it. The Great World Cup was the greatest achievement of Bulgarain football. It was the year that we finished fourth in a World Cup, our best result to date, and possibly our best result ever- well unless every other team on the world gets ubducted by aliens during a World Cup and Bulgaria is the only country that can win.

I was in the car with my parents and they were telling about the World Cup. Since you, imaginary reader, have probably never heard of the Bulgarian story I will tell you. So sit back and relax.

Few people believed that we had a chance to qualify. If we wanted to make it France had to lose to Israel and then we had to win our last match against France in Paris. All this seemed unlikely, until France lost to Israel. So our boys get on a bus and go to Paris. They play there and the score at 89th minute is 1-1, a score which gets France the ticket to the World Cup in America, and a score that sends Bulgaria back to, well, Bulgaria (duh). But lets no get ahead of ourselves. Emil Kostadinov, who scored the only goal for Bulgaria in the game decided it was time to do something in the 90the minute and scored. The goal made the commentators' remark "God is Bulgarian" famous throughout the country. All 50,000 people in the stadium at Paris were stunned as white-out covered France's name on their plane ticket to America and replaced it with Bulgaria.
The Bulgarian boys got to America and found themselves in a group with Nigeria and Argentina. Nigeria seemed an easy task, until they beat us 3-0. Then they were stopped by the great Argentina, who had to play the Bulgarian next. Bulgaria won the match and got past the group stages. Then some unimportant matches were played and then we got to the quarter finals. There we had a tough task ahead of us- Germany. We beat them 2-1 and proceeded to the semis.
The Americans were starting to worry now. They didn't want Bulgaria to make it to the finals because no one wanted to see a team that no one's heard of play at the finals, which meant they won't be able to fill their stadiums. So as we faced out next task, Italy they decided to be all meanie and screw with us. They gave us a French referee. The French, of course hated us because we are the reason they weren't at the World Cup. There are many Bulgarians that blame the referee for our loss of the match 2-1, but I don't. Being Bulgarian I know that there is one thing that we can't do- which is win at big tournaments.
Eventually, Brazil went on to win their 1437643627 title over penalty shout-outs with Italy. I don't regret that we didn't win. Of course it would have been nice to win, but I do regret that I was too little to remember this. It was probably the most amazing feeling ever, and I could just imagine how proud I would have been to be a Bulgarian.

Spaniaridis

Since this weekend is an international weekend, with a handful of world cup qualification matches going on it is only fitting that we talk about which team is the best looking team in the world. I know that this sounds superficial when these teams are fighting for much more than good looks, but I can't hope but notice how good looking some teams were. As much as I wouldn't like to admit this I might also be suffering from Spaniaridis, which is a branch of Torrenidis, but includes the entire Spanish team.
They definitely have to be the best looking team out there. I shall now stop typing words and let you indulge in pictures of the Spaniards.

We begin by taking a look at Iker Casillas, just look at that handsome face.

Now some Xavi's:

Aww, Xavi and that puppy dog face *pokes cheek*

The wanna-be Xavi, Xavi Alonso congratulates his good looks.

Now some Dahveeds:

The Villa, is not only handsome, but he also shows us his amazing thumb-sucking abilities.

Oh, boy.

Ah, those eyes just kill me. "*is ded*

Yes, Fabregas even you are present, there is just something about you that makes me go all Manchester United over you.

Haha, you're so funny. But Pique is pretty good looking for, well, Pique.

And finally, the picture we all have been waiting for:

The Torres, El nino, el handsomo, el whatever. His whiteness makes me go all gooey and he is so adowable

The Boy Wonder, the Ibra and Some Tennis

The Barcelona game, which I talked about in the previous post, ended with 3-0. I wasn't impressed with their performance, but there was no Messi and no Henry. I was so sad that there was no Messi goodness, but we got to see a lot of Bojan :)

He scored some goals and shared a Kodak moment with some people

Ibra walked around and looked bored, but finally decided it was time to score a goal. He looks a little like a Baba Yaga (look it up).

While Ibra was walking around the field, some peeps played tennis:

Fed waved, and won some matches.

While Mirka looked bored.

Sharapova screamed (scram) her way through the Bulgarian, Pironkova, and advanced to the second round.

The Djoker was especially yellow, as he went through to the second round.
